San Francisco International Airport Terminal–Mechanical Engineering Services for Areas A & G and T3 Boarding Area F (United) Checked Baggage Screening Areas & Temporary Facility - San Francisco, CA

NBA scope of work included site visits for visual observation and verification of mechanical & utilities as-built drawings and marking up the plans.  NBA reviewed existing as-built HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for both boarding areas A & G and boarding area F (United), around new CBRA areas (ramp level). NBA provided HVAC demo plan for CBRA room as well as HVAC load calculations.  NBA provided design (plans and specs.) Title 24 and cost estimates for new HVAC system and duct distribution for the two new CBRA rooms.  NBA designed existing CTX9000 machine condensate drain.  NBA relocated storm drain and other piping on the way of new system.  NBA personnel assisted during the bid process by responding to RFI’s and attending the pre-bid conference.  The scope of construction administration included responding to contractor’s RFI’s, reviewing equipment submittals, reviewing equipment substitutions (maximum 25%); attending site visits and HVAC provided punch list and back check punch list for each area.
