This one-story fire station in Santa Ana consisted of 19,000 sq. ft.  With many individual HVAC systems and no BAS system, NBA's responsibility was to provide enhanced commissioning for this project that was to be LEED Silver Certified.  We provided mechanical and electrical peer review to ensure that the design, operational intent and OPR of the system were well documented.  NBA provided commissioning plans and specifications, pre-functional test and functional test procedures.  NBA attended and scheduled actual tests for the AC units, the hot water system, building power, fail test, etc.  NBA also participated in the post occupancy phase by reviewing systems' manuals and verifying the completion of operating personnel training.
