This project consisted of verification of an existing as-built wiring diagram pertaining to MCC's control panels and annunciator panels and updating drawings. It also included the replacement of all control panels, control relays with PLC control, replacement of all the power, instrumentation & alarm wiring with new wiring for modifications for the sludge dewatering centrifuge system control. All of the analog displays were replaced with digital ones and additional conduits were provided from centrifuge panels to instrument cabinets. The electrical system upgrade had to conform to national electric code, Federal OSHA and Cal OSHA and requirements of maintenance department.
