NBA received multiple task orders for this on-call contract for the San Francisco Department of Public Works. One task order was for the San Francisco Department of Health, for which NBA remodeled the Adult Immunization & Travel Clinic that was relocated to a new facility. The new location encompassed approximately 2,400 square feet, involving the consolidation and renovation of the existing ground floor suites #27A and #27B into a unified suite. The redesigned clinic incorporated a public waiting area, injection rooms dedicated to vaccine administration, and workspaces to support staff.

NBA provided the design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the new location. NBA provided HVAC and plumbing load calculations, including all eqt. heat loads, if applicable. For the fire protection system, we coordinated sprinkler head layouts and provided performance specifications. NBA provided design documents through to construction, and responded to contractor RFIs during the bid period.
