Blowfish Sushi to Die For, Santana Row- San Jose, CA

This sushi restaurant encompassed 3,000 sq. ft. with an additional 1,000 sq. ft. of kitchen space on the first floor of a 2-story building. NBA provided electrical plans for power, telephone, and lighting circuiting.  We indicated circuit wire runs and circuit numbers, provided a panel schedule, coordinated with the landlord for electrical, HVAC and plumbing drawings, and provided specifications. We provided fire alarm device location on the plan and tied them into the existing building fire alarm panel. We also provided Title 24 lighting calculations and HVAC equipment forms for the plan check requirements, as well as plumbing drawings to show the distribution of waste, vent, HW, and CW for the new men’s and women’s bathrooms.  We used an under-the-sink instantaneous electric water heater for these bathrooms. NBA provided only CW and drain for the bar, and HW, CW, and drain per K2 equipment drawing (as provided by the architect) for the kitchen and sushi bar. NBA also provided a gas fired hot water heater for the dishwasher in the kitchen, as well as HVAC system design (water cooled heat pumps) with individual thermostats to serve the kitchen, dining room, bar and corridor areas (plans and specifications).
